Principal’s Corner
Happy Thursday Eagle Families,
This week we have all felt the outpouring of love and appreciation from each and every one of you! We are so thankful for each of the thoughtful days of staff appreciation! Everything from the coffee to the popcorn to the food has really made us feel like stars!
Thanks so much for all you do to make everyone feel special!

School Notes
Important Information:
- Bell Times for 22/23: Since Asbury shifted bell times at the start of this year, our bell times will remain the same for the 22/23 school year. We will start at 7:40 and end at 2:40. After getting input from the community and staff, we learned that as a community, we preferred keeping our current start time over a later start time.
- Asbury’s 22/23 SY Calendar: Here is Asbury’s 22/23 school year calendar. As you can see, we have one release day per month and all the release days are backed up to a weekend or a long weekend.
- SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION: Summer Connections is a FREE full day, 6 week program available in all DPS regions for ALL rising 1st-5th grade students that combines literacy, math, and science. Students will engage in hands-on enrichment experiences in STEM, Art and Spark Career Exploration. Students may receive individual or small group tutoring.

We are looking for community help on Tuesday, May 17th to help weed and prep our different garden beds for new life this spring. If you are interested in helping, please see the sign up genius below.
