Asbury Community,
I love spring time at Asbury- we have so many fun activities. We had an amazing beach party (dance) that was hosted by Meaghan McCabe and Mr. Howard- thanks to both of them for putting on such a fun dance! In addition, we also had our Dish-A-Story and Student Led Conferences this past Tuesday. These combined events are amazing and really speak to how close knit our community is! Thanks for the amazing food, stories and coming to learn about all the amazing learning your students are involved in!
We also have Spring Wing coming up tomorrow! I am so excited to celebrate Asbury at our upcoming Derby party Friday evening!
Also, next week is my favorite week. It is my favorite because we get to celebrate our amazing staff! I just recently learned (on my trip to DC) that Elinore Roosevelt established Teacher/Staff Appreciation in 1953. Though it started as a day and has now shifted to a full week of appreciation, I am grateful to her for establishing and recognizing all the people that support in schools!
I am very excited about this upcoming week! Alongside the PTSO’s Staff Appreciation Committee, ILT, and the Office Staff, we have a fun filled week for staff! Please join me in celebrating all our amazing staff next week.
In Partnership,
Jeanna Doung

Ridwell is running a special promotion for schools. We need 8 more families to sign up for a new Ridwell subscription by May 31st. Thank you to the two families who did sign up already. If you signed up before, unfortunately it does not count for this new promotion so we need new member sign ups!
I want to take a minute and highlight Safe2Tell. It is an important resource for students, families, and community members. Safe2Tell is here for threats to student or school safety. Adults can submit Safe2Tell reports on their own behalf and/or on behalf of their child. All Safe2Tell reports are anonymous and are not included in a student’s academic record.
