Principal Message:

Asbury Community,

If you have not popped by Asbury playground recently, you should stop by and check out our newly revamped green space under Bob. Who is Bob, you ask? Bob is our giant tree in the middle of our school yard – the tree has been here almost as long as the school.

Over spring break, a crew came out and added mulch and outdoor seating/play structures under the big tree. At Asbury we enjoy getting fresh air and eating outside. With these additional seats, we can enjoy more comfortable outdoor eating for students – which we love. In asking students where they prefer eating, most students indicate they love eating outdoors – eating with friends in open spaces in the sun is a highlight of their day!

If you are able, stop by and check out these updates to the playground!

In Partnership,

Jeanna Doung
