Become a member of PTSO!
Asbury Direct Give
- Every year, usually in February, we come to the community for our Direct Give Campaign. This event allows community members to contribute to the important missions at Asbury Elementary School. We hope you’ll consider donating monthly, during the Direct Give Campaign, or whenever works for your family.
There are many ways to donate and help support our school:
- Make a check out to Asbury PTSO and mail it to Asbury Elementary at 1320 E Asbury Ave, Denver CO 80210. Please put Direct Give in the memo line.
- PayPal – Use the QR code below and please put “Direct Give” in the notes.
- Scan the QR code below or visit PayPal on your phone or computer and go to @AsburyElementaryPTSO
- Monthly Donations via Zelle. Contact Amy Fitzgerald (asburyfunds@gmail.com) for information on setting this up.
- Does your company offer matching gifts? Ask your HR team about matching gifts and be sure to submit your request in order to double your impact.
- Set up your own Asbury fundraiser using a site like GoFundMe or similar. Instead of birthday gifts, ask for donations to be made for Asbury. There are so many ways to raise money for our wonderful school!

Upcoming PTSO Events
- PTSO meetings – First Tuesday of each month, at 6 p.m.
- Meetings will be held alternately in person and virtually this year.
- The details will be sent out via School Communication. Pizza, Childcare, and Interpretation will be provided for in-person meetings.
- Fall Carnival
- This very fun community event will be 9/20/24. Face painters, games, prizes, and more!
- Read-a-Thon
- This literacy-focused event is held in the late winter/early spring to encourage our students and staff to read and foster a love of books.
- Direct Give Campaign
- We love Asbury!! This is one of our most important fundraisers of the year and we hope everyone can participate!
- This is happening now during the month of Februrary!
- Annual Spring Wing (Adults-only fundraiser)
- Save the date for April or May, 2025.
- This even is SO FUN…you don’t want to miss it!

Upcoming Dining Out and Community Ticketing Events
Dining Out Nights and Community Ticketing events are great fundraisers for our school and great opportunities to spend time with other Asbury Families. For Dine Outs, restaurants, liquor stores, and other retailers offer a percentage of purchases back to Asbury. For Community Events, families are given the opportunity to go skating, watch a sporting event, or do other fun things with other Asbury Families!
These events are not restricted to Asbury students, so please invite your friends and family to stop by as well and mention Asbury when they place their orders. Keep your eye on school communications to find out more!
No Brainer Ongoing Fundraisers
- Safeway
- Cards are available in the front office, get one for your family and any family members who shop at Safeway or Albertsons, in any state!
- They come with zero dollar balances, you must load them first: request the checker initiate “reload” option and follow instructions to load the card (maximum $500 each time)
- Use the card to pay for your items, a generous giveback goes to Asbury at no cost to you!
- Reload and reuse the card as many times as you wish – Asbury keeps getting the rewards
- American Furniture Warehouse
- Mention Asbury Elementary at check out and we will receive 2% donation on any purchase; 4% on Beautyrest or Serta mattresses

- Box Tops for Education
- Download the Box Tops for Education app. Once your account is set up, just upload your receipt whenever you purchase products with the Box Top label. Asbury will get $.10 for each box top.
- Go to https://www.boxtops4education.com/ for details on the program.
- King Soopers Community Rewards Program: King Soopers Community Rewards makes fundraising easy by donating to Asbury based on the shopping you do every day.
- Once you link your card to Asbury Elementary, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your card or enter your phone number.
- Connect your existing loyalty card to Asbury Elementary or get a loyalty card at the service desk of any King Soopers.
- Go to www.kingsoopers.com and log in or create an account.
- From the “Save” dropdown menu in the top left corner, select “King Soopers Community Rewards”.
- Search for “Asbury Elementary School PTSO” either by name or by our code: XH033
- Click “Enroll”.
- Once your loyalty card is linked to Asbury, simply swipe your card (or enter the related phone number) at checkout and a percentage of your purchase will go back to Asbury.
