My wedding day and also when my children were born

Favorite thing about living in Colorado?

The humidity!

Favorite sport to watch or play and why?

I like to watch football and NASCAR. My kids played tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, lacrosse, ice hockey, baseball, and softball when they were younger, so I learned that I can watch just about any sport.

Favorite board game?

Trivial Pursuit, because I have a talent for remembering trivial, useless details about a lot of things.

Best part of teaching?

Watching the light bulb go off when a student realizes they have learned something. I also enjoy the stories they tell me about their families.

Favorite book or author?

Mary Roach, but I read a lot of different types of books.

Why teaching?

Every day is a new experience! And I love school supplies!

Why Asbury?

I love the small school environment and the supportive neighborhood.

I started a strength training program this summer, so someday you may see me lift a car.
