Principal Message:

Dear Asbury Eagle Families,

I am writing to let you know that the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has released preliminary school ratings on the 2025 "School Performance Framework" (SPF). This framework is a critical part of the state's accountability system, which provides a detailed look at how schools are performing. As you may know, Denver Public Schools is now using the CDE's SPF exclusively, which relies on student performance data from state assessments like CMAS, PSAT, SAT, and ACCESS.

We are pleased to share that Asbury is rated Green overall on the SPF results (the highest rating) and blue (a distinguished rating) for both our growth and academic achievement data! 

DPS will use the 2025 SPF data to help us improve school quality, ensure that we have more supports in place to drive student achievement at individual schools, and bolster our efforts districtwide. The ratings from this year's SPF will be used for accountability purposes, helping us to celebrate our successes and strategically address areas for improvement.
