Message from the Assistant Principal

Dear Asbury Community,

Let me be the first to say Welcome Back to School! And, if this is your first year at Asbury Elementary, welcome to our school. I feel both honored and privileged to have been selected as your newly appointed assistant principal.

As many of you already know, my name is Alicia FaJohn, and this will mark my 10th year in education. My teaching experiences have included 2nd-5th grade, Montessori experience, Teacher Team Lead and much more! I must say I am honored to come to Asbury because of the extraordinary teachers, staff and students that make up this building! I want you to feel welcome to stop by school whether it’s to volunteer, have lunch with your child or simply say hello. I believe it is extremely important for your child to know their school administrators, and I will work hard to make sure that happens. You will frequently find me at lunch with the students, or in classrooms throughout the day. I hold myself accountable for being visible in the hallways, cafeteria, classrooms and at recess. My hope is that you and your child won’t hesitate to contact me if you ever have questions, concerns, or just want to share good news about your child or about our school.

I would like to close once again by telling you how much I look forward to working with you, our students and our staff at Asbury Elementary School. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children each day. I am truly honored.

Best,

Alicia FaJohn
